If you have never tried Ziena eyewear before, please follow the steps below to ensure maximum success to fitting. The goal is to seal completely around the eyes. It is not as much as referencing the frame size (e.g. the large frame for a large face or a small frame for a small face), but rather focusing on the curvature of the frame to seal around the curvature of your brow bone and cheekbone.
Try as many frames as you can to find the best fit. Ziena is not your typical eyewear as we have to gauge the curvature of the frame to the curvature of your face, which is not quite quantifiable. The best way to know which seals best is to simply try on as many frame styles as possible.
When you receive the glasses, have someone in front of you check the seal above, below, and around the side of your eyes. Sometimes the silicone is so soft that you don’t notice it’s sealed already.
It is ok to have a little bit of gap, about ¼th of your finger because to have too perfect of a seal would not allow your perspiration to escape and therefore has a greater chance of the lenses fogging. (Medical providers will need at least 99% seal however).
We also sell all natural anti-fog spray that is ideal to help combat against fogging lenses.
